📚 State Testing begins March 31 and will continue throughout April.

Testing can sometimes feel stressful, but with a little preparation, students can feel confident and ready to do their best! Families can help by following these simple tips:

Get plenty of rest 😴 — encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep before each testing day.
Eat a healthy breakfast 🍎 — a nutritious breakfast helps students stay focused and energized.
Offer encouragement 💙 — remind your child to stay positive and simply do their best.
Arrive at school on time ⏰ — arriving on time helps students start the day calm and prepared.
Dress comfortably 👕 — comfortable clothing can help students feel more relaxed during testing.

Each school building’s testing schedule is included with this post. Please review the schedule for your child’s building so you know when testing will take place.

Thank you for partnering with us to help make this a successful and positive testing season for all of our students! 🌟

Mrs. Jacobsen's 5th graders have been hard at work bringing history to life! As they've been learning about the first 13 colonies, students took on the challenge of building their own log cabins- just like the early settlers would have done when European countries began colonizing America.

With limited supplies, uneven "logs", and the added challenge of unpredictable conditions, students quickly realized how difficult it would have been to build a home or fort back then. There were definitely moments of frustration, but their perseverance paid off!

In the end, the classroom was filled with proud smiles as students admired their completed cabins. What a fun and meaningful way to experience history firsthand!

Pop tabs are due at the elementary school on Tuesday, May 12th! We are honored to get to send the tabs that we have collected this school year with Brigstyn Petrik when she goes to her doctor! EVERY YEAR, pop tabs are collected at the elementary school and the students are encouraged to bring them in anytime. Mark the bag for what grade your student/students are in and the weight will be added to their grade level total. At the end of the year, the grade with the most weight PER STUDENT will recieve a prize! And, as always, the real prize is getting to provide a gift to the Ronald McDonald House that provides housing for families of sick children.
