I can check emails and return phone calls daily between 9:15 and 9:45.

I grew up in Sparks and attended Highland schools. I have degrees from Highland Community College, Kansas State University, and Baker University where I received my Master's degree in Elementary Education. After teaching out of state for six years, I moved home and have continued my teaching career at Doniphan West. As a science teacher, my favorite part of teaching is helping my students make sense of the world around them. Everything we do and every decision we make is connected and impactful.

Birthday treats:
We celebrate birthdays in the morning. It is the family's choice if they would like to provide treats for all of 5th Grade (28 students) or for their child's homeroom only (14 students).
