Leadership means setting a positive example and guiding others in the right direction through actions, choices, and attitude. At Doniphan West Elementary, we are proud to celebrate students who demonstrate outstanding leadership!

Today, we recognized students who have shown what it truly means to be a Mustang Leader. These students lead by example, make thoughtful choices, and help create a positive environment for others.

⚾️ Game Day! The Doniphan West High School boys baseball team is back in action this evening as they travel to take on Blue Valley High School in Randolph. First pitch is set for 4 pm, and the Mustangs are ready to battle on the road.

The National Honor Society chapter at Doniphan West High School recently held its induction ceremony, welcoming new members into the organization. Students selected for induction have demonstrated excellence in the four pillars of the National Honor Society: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. These students have shown a commitment to academic success, positive leadership, strong moral character, and serving both their school and community. Congratulations to all of our new members on this outstanding achievement!

KAY Board members recently voted to make a donation to God's Faithful Servants, a Kansas organization, as an international project to meet our gold standard. "God's Faithful Servants wishes to thank the Doniphan West High School KAY Club for your very generous donation of $300.00 to purchase wheelchairs for children in desperate need of mobility, in Mexico. Two of these wheelchairs are a direct result of your clubs donation!! This delivery will take place in the Summer 2027."

Our Book Blast event has just a few days left, and the response we've had is AMAZING. Thank You!

Today, we have our 3rd Drawing Prize Winner of a Treasure Chest stuffed with cash, coins, jewels, and candy. This student completed their mission and sent out 10 invitations. Congratulations Johanna! We still have one more drawing prize to give away, the EPIC TREASURE CHEST! Be sure to complete your Treasure Map assignment tonight. You could be the special winner!
