The 2024 Doniphan West Elementary Family Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners. Congratulations! The DWES Students and Staff Winner is Andrew McCauley with his Donald Trump pumpkin. The Community Donation Winner is Juliet Trachsel with her Hedgehog pumpkin. The Board Of Education Winner is Emma Scholz with her Spooky Graveyard pumpkin. Thank you Board Members , Michelle Meyer, Brett Miner, Tana Snyder, Zach Lee and Brad McCauley for coming to our celebration and selecting a pumpkin.

Kadens Kloset has open shopping on Sunday, November 3rd from 5-7 pm. This is free to all families in the community!

Due to colder temperatures and winds, the costume parade will be held in the gym at 1:30. We hope to see you there.
DWES Librarian, Stacey Miner, invited Tyler Lupfer from the St. Joseph Mustangs to talk with students about the St Joseph Mustang Reading Program. For every 10 books read, students can earn prizes from the Mustangs.
Students can also earn free tickets to the St Joseph Mustangs Opening Night baseball game.
Several juniors visited Missouri Western State University today. They enjoyed a tour of campus and learned about admission and scholarships.
