4th and 5th-grade students from Doniphan West, Troy, and Riverside had a fun and educational experience at Farm Safety Days!
Hosted by 4-H Extension, the Health Department, and in partnership with Progressive Agriculture Safety Day, students took part in hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations focused on important farm safety practices.
From learning about farm equipment and structures to understanding chemical safety and emergency preparedness, students gained valuable knowledge to help keep themselves and others safe in our agricultural community. It was a day full of learning, teamwork, and practical lessons that will last a lifetime!

Our 5th and 6th-grade students brought geometry to life with an exciting and fun Volume Zoo Project!
In this hands-on learning experience, students designed and built their own zoo animals using three-dimensional shapes while exploring volume and surface area concepts.
This creative project combined math, problem-solving, and imagination as students turned geometry into a real-world design challenge. From planning to building, students had a blast making learning both educational and fun!
To make the project even more special, students also presented and explained their animals to the rest of the student body, sharing their creativity and the math behind their designs!
