The pop tabs that were collected over the last 12 months at Doniphan West Elementary School were delivered this week to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Kansas City. They are recycled at an elevated cost per pound, providing RMHC to provide housing and services to families who have lived ones in the hospital, such as Children’s Mercy. Every year the elementary hosts a pop tab collection competition between grade levels to see how many tabs are brought! Please continue to save your tabs and send them in to school throughout the year as desired! Tabs will be due at the end of the school year.
