DWHS juniors, seniors, and guests gathered for prom festivities on Saturday, April 20.The official festivities began at 5 p.m. with photos at the home of Brandon and Blair Geiger. Next was a red carpet walk-in at the Highland Christian Church fellowship hall starting at 6:30 p.m.
Once students and guests were inside the venue, the party began with mingling, snacks, Shirley Temple cocktails, and more photo opportunities. Dinner was Olive Garden pasta, salad, and dessert.
After the meal, the freshmen servers performed a lip sync and choreographed dance and then it was time to hit the dance floor.
The prom theme was Roll Out the Red Carpet, and the juniors had decorated with touches of red, black, silver, and gold.
When the dance ended at 11 p.m., the promgoers were bussed to Belt Bowl in St. Joseph for the after prom party.
