Sometimes families are very fearful of DCF (Department of Children and Families) being involved with family affairs. Please note that DCF has many ways to assist families in need. If you are looking for any type of assistance, please contact DCF to see what opportunities are available. They do a great job supporting families in need. Scan the QR Code to see what they can offer!

Due to worsening weather conditions, today’s conferences have been canceled.

Showing students some love with Valentine's Day cinnamon rolls! Of course we have chili as our entree - a classic combination! Our chili is made from locally-grown and donated beef.

The Kindergarten classes are preparing for KC Chiefs' Big Day! GO CHIEFS!!

The National School Counseling Week is being celebrated this week. Elementary students donated a quarter to help purchase a gift for our Social Worker, Mr. Peterson. He sat in his new chair beside his cooler of snacks during morning bus duty. Students helped decorate his door with thoughtful comments and a dinner was provided by the staff. We love Mr. Peterson!

Mustangs will have fun dressing up daily to show our Super Bowl Spirit!

The Sixth Grade Students became teachers this week!
The Sixth Grade classes have been studying Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning (CER) through TV commercials. For their final project, they developed a lesson plan and an experiment to teach the Third and Fourth Graders about CER!
