The Mustang girls have advanced past the first round of sub-state with a 74-23 win over Bishop Seabury on Feb. 23 at home, and they will play Troy in the semifinals at Onaga on Thursday, March 2. The winner of that game will play the Burlingame-Centralia winner for the championship on Saturday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Onaga.
The Mustang boys' season came to an end with a 36-57 loss to Troy in the first round of sub-state on Feb. 24.
