The DWest JH Stuco has recently co-sponsored a mural downstairs in the JH hall. “We wanted a mural that represented Doniphan West Junior High students and their character attributes” stated Ms Allen. With the talents of Mrs. Gibson this idea became a reality. We also appreciate all of the support the administration gave to put the idea into motion.
To help pay for the mural the JH Stuco has had several fundraisers this year to raise money for the mural. Fundraisers included a snack cart and a “soda like you” event. Ms Allen added, “We are so excited to have an identity downstairs now.” Again, a HUGE “thank you to Mrs.Gibson for sharing her talents and enhancing our school.
