The Dwest JH Stuco spent Friday, March 31st giving back to our community. Eight students traveled to Troy’s Kaden’s Closet to volunteer our services. The JH Stuco members include Kayte Falk, Courtney Johnson, Lydia Keebler, Kenadee Buckley, Andi Foster, Jayden Owen, Reese McCauley and McKinley Hennigan.
We spent the morning separating winter and summer clothing and making overnight bags. As we worked, we also learned about the need around us. Kaden’s Closet is a wonderful organization whose main focus is to help those in need. Without volunteers, this task is too great to maintain. “We are so eager for days like this.” stated Ms. Allen. “Dana Clary is always a joy to work with. We are so lucky to have such great people like her, to help care for others”, MsAllen added.
